Bio
Hello! I was born and raised in Dayton, WY and on a ranch. My husband and I have 4 kiddos! We are a family that loves the outdoors, fishing, our pets, farm animals and we are all active in sports. I have previously been a substitute teacher, para in a behavior special education classroom, and teacher for 7 years (kinder and 1st grade). I am currently teaching kindergarten and the assistant middle school boys basketball coach! I graduated from Grand Canyon University (GCU) with a Dual Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education K-12. Since I love to learn, I then earned a dual Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education in 2021 from GCU! My love of learning has taken me to a bunch of professional development opportunities, so I am LETRS Certified, IMSE Comprehensive certified, and been trained in Love and Logic. I enjoy attending PLC sessions and other academic or behavioral learning opportunities to stay current!
