Nathan Gurtler

Nathan Gurtler has been teaching elementary music since 2013.  He received his Associate's degree from Casper College, followed by a B.A. in Music Performance and a B.A. in Music Education from Montana State University Billings.  He earned his M. Ed. degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a specialization in Integrated Teaching Through the Arts from Lesley University.  He is an Orff Schulwerk certified teacher, having taken his levels courses through Adams State University.  He taught nine years at Paradise Valley Elementary in Casper, WY, and has been at Ralph Witters Elementary ever since.

 

Mr. Gurtler believes in the unity of music and loves being with students!  His mission is to teach music and show students how to live happy, healthy, and connected lives!  He is an active member of the Highland Park Community Church worship team and he worked for Lifeway Christian Resources based in Nashville, TN during his summers!  In his free time, he loves being together with his family and friends, he DJ’s weddings and events, and he plays all over the state in a two-man band called Cowboy Hippie!  Interested in a conference, DJ services, or live music?  Email here to book him!
