My name is Sandy Richins and I moved to Thermopolis in 2005 and began as a School Custodian for 3 years. I then moved into the Special Education Department for 2 years before arriving in the current position as Library Aide.
I have worked a total of 25 years in 3 different school districts in Wyoming and Montana, 23 of those years as a full-time/ part-time custodian.
Because of my love for children, I wanted to be more involved with students beyond the daily cleaning up after them, so when asked if interested in the library para position I jumped!
I can't imagine working anywhere but in school, it is my passion to work with children and it has been an honor to meet and work with some very impressive Teachers. I hold such a high honor to teachers who have the gift to teach.
